According to our recent poll, the majority of Birmingham fans want Garry Monk to make a January move for Manchester United goalkeeper Lee Grant.
The 35-year-old made the shock move to Old Trafford during the summer transfer window to act as third choice keeper for Jose Mourinho’s side, behind David De Gea and Sergio Romero, but he has only played once so far this season and he should force a move away in January.
Birmingham would be a perfect destination, and it’s clear that the fans are inclined to agree, with 78 per cent saying that they would back a January move if the club’s finances allow it.

This is most likely down to the form of first-choice stopper Lee Camp. The 34-year-old has struggled in recent weeks, but with David Stockdale frozen out and Connal Trueman struggling in the first two games of the season, Monk’s only option could be to look to the transfer market.
