Eric Dier is with the Tottenham Hotspur squad preparing for Tuesday’s Champions League last-16 second leg against Borussia Dortmund.
Dier has missed the north London outfit’s last four matches through illness, whilst he has only played 12 minutes of Premier League football in 2019 after undergoing an appendix operation.
The 25-year-old has long divided opinion with the Spurs fans, but a large number are happy to have the England international available for the clash with Dortmund.
Tottenham do not exactly have a whole host of midfield options at the moment, whilst they will enter Tuesday’s match off the back of a difficult run of form.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side are in a very strong position to make the quarter-finals, though, as they boast a 3-0 advantage from the first leg at Wembley.
Kieran Trippier’s own goal against Chelsea looks even funnier up close. Just ask Thogden in the video below…
It remains to be seen whether Dier plays a part in Germany, but the Tottenham supporters are definitely happy to have the former Sporting Lisbon man available again.
