Loads of Rangers fans have been reacting to some rather bizarre criticism of Alfredo Morelos, as James McFadden blasted the striker for picking up too many cards.
Morelos was at his brilliant best again at the weekend, grabbing a goal and assist despite playing just 28 minutes off the bench against Livingston.
The 22-year-old’s only weakness reared its ugly head again though, as he picked up a yellow card that rules him out of Sunday’s clash at Hearts.
McFadden was clearly not impressed, as the former Motherwell, Everton and Scotland striker blasted the Colombian on Sky Sports.
“At crucial points of the season he’s not available and he’ll need to sort that out,” he said.
“His discipline is poor and I don’t think there’s any need for it. Again at the weekend he comes off the bench and does what he does best in scoring goals but he continues to let himself and his teammates down.

“They need to find someone to help. I think Kyle Lafferty hasn’t been in the team as much and he’s a big player for them, but they need someone else.
“I feel they need to bring a striker in, just to help the two guys up front in case they’re not available. As we’ve seen with Morelos, he’s suspended or he’s not fit as much as he’s available at times.”
McFadden’s criticism was actually pretty fair until the last line, as Morelos has been suspended for two games so far this season, three if you count Sunday’s trip to Hearts.
The 22-year-old has an incredible 16 goals and nine assists in 26 games this season, and while his ten yellow cards and two reds are a concern, they aren’t exactly season-defining.
Loads of fans have been bashing McFadden’s verdict, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
